• Social Data: Your friend list, friend requests sent/received, and buddy connections.
• Usage Data: In-app preferences and interactions to improve recommendations.

2. How We Use Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

• Authentication: To secure your account via Google or Apple Sign In and synchronise your data across devices.
• Social Features: To enable "Game Buddy" lobbies, friend requests, private messaging, and profile viewing.
• Cloud Sync: To ensure your favorites, friends, and settings are available on all your logged-in devices.
• Personalization: To provide AI-powered game recommendations based on your preferences.

3. Third-Party Services

Our app uses the following third-party services:

• Firebase (Google): For authentication, cloud database (Firestore), and analytics.
• RAWG API: For game information and images
• CheapShark API: For game price comparison
• Groq AI: For AI-powered recommendations

These services have their own privacy policies and their use is subject to their own terms.

4. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data. However, no data transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

5. Data Retention

Your profile data, chat messages, and favorites are stored in our cloud database (Firebase Firestore) to enable cross-device sync and social features. You may request deletion of your data at any time through the app settings or by contacting us.

Our app does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
